In the vibrant streets of Montreal's Old Rosemont neighbourhood, there's a workshop where craftsmanship and passion intertwine. Fabrice, the creator and artisan behind Fab' Products, invites us into his world of leather goods, where each piece tells a story of artistry and heritage.

Before venturing into the world of leatherworking, Fabrice immersed himself in visual arts, honing his skills as a photographer. However, his manual dexterity and innate curiosity led him down a different path. In 2016, while collecting old cameras, he began crafting his own leather camera straps. The positive feedback he received from friends and colleagues encouraged him to take the leap and establish Fab'.

Driven by a desire to create products with lasting value, Fabrice delved into the art of leather craftsmanship. For him, it was essential to work with a material that ages gracefully over time. Leather, particularly vegetable-tanned leather from the renowned Wickett & Craig tannery, became his medium of choice. This North American leather possesses exceptional quality and develops a beautiful natural patina, infusing each item with character.

Fab' Products embraces sustainability, starting with the selection of high-quality raw materials. The use of vegetable-tanned leather, derived from organic tannin often sourced from tree bark, adds an eco-conscious touch to the brand's creations. Fabrice's meticulous workmanship ensures that every wallet, belt, and accessory is built to endure.

Rooted in Montreal, Fab' Products found a fitting home in our NEON stores. With a strong focus on supporting local artisans, NEON provided Fabrice with a platform to showcase his unique designs promoting craftsmanship and fostering a connection with the community.

What makes Fab' Products even more special is the familial thread that runs through the brand. Fabrice proudly carries on a legacy of leatherworking passed down from his grandmother and mother. Working alongside his mother in the workshop, he cherishes the tradition of craftsmanship and the bond it creates within his family.

Looking ahead, Fabrice envisions expanding his family of accessories while advocating for conscious consumerism. He believes in the importance of making well-informed purchasing decisions and supporting local artisans who craft products meant to stand the test of time.
